Photo diary of my 10-day-trip to the Australian territories in September 2017.
SLEEPY ALICE SPRINGS GREETED US WITH STUNNING VIEWS, AND A SUNSET surrounded by clouds of smoke from BUSHFIRES IN THE DISTANCE.

Kata Tjuta National Park was a whirlwind of Red dust, stories of the people who once inhabited it and much-needed rain.
EARTH & ITS BeAUTIFUL CREATURES
/ If you WANT TO AVOID ZOOS BUT STILL SEE KANGAROOS UP CLOSE, visit the Kangaroo Sanctuary IN ALICE SPRINGS. THIS SANCTUARY gives rescued baby kangaroos whose mothers were killed in road accidents a forever home. The kangaroos ARE IN A HUGE ENCLOSURE AND live undisturbed except for SUNSET TIME when they are fed in the presence of VISITORS. It was such a beautiful experience being so close to these wild animals.
